Random album enjoyment

Well last night I decided to pick an album at random and listen to it all the way through regardless of what I thought of the album the last time I listened. So wrote a random number down and went and counted through the cds until I came to that album number (ok that's a bit silly but I had time on my hands).

the album was Lucinda Williams, Car Wheels on A Gravel Road.

I haven't listened to this album for ages - in fact it's never been played on my current cd player which I've had for about 4 years.

Completely forgot what a great album it was.

It's funny as the collection grows and tastes change or new genres come get introduced how long it is that you actually have listened to a particular album.

I've already written down numbers 443 and 67 for tonight's listening :lolsign:

excellent choice, the Gods of Random Selection seem to like you :-)

I own nearly all of Mrs William’s CDs, but I think this certain album still is her best. Each song is a perfect gem, my favourite tune is “Lake Charles”.

I've got a couple of her other albums but on vinyl, this is the only one on CD.

It's an excellent album and I forgot how good it was. Have to make sure it's not 4+ years to enjoy it again.

One of the nice features of a squeezebox is the random album function...;)
