Lovely system and perfect photos.

A short length of D-line trunking would hide those wires from the screen.:)

Is there anywhere that sells those Valve clocks in a case like that, have only ever seen them as DIY projects. ?

I install a few wall mounted TV's for customers so I always have some in the Van, saves a lot of time.

Freakin' awesome, Joe! :stalks:

Like Nick says, you have great taste, and so have put together a lovely vintage system that no doubt not only works superbly well, sonically, but visually and aesthetically, in sympathy with your room.

Congrats on sharing one of the best system pics we have in our Gallery

I must pop down sometime for a listen... I'd love to hear what my G800 cartridge would sound like on your TD124!

Marco.

Hey Andre.

This is the one: http://www.glowbug.nl/neon/KarlssonClock.html designed by Peter van der Jagt.

I bought it in oooh.. 1997 or 98 I think. One of the first ones made. Not sure if they are still available. I saw one on ebay quite a while back and it went for about £250... It cost about £200 at the time I seem to remember.

It's a great little thing and compliments the amps don't you think?

Cheers Marco.. Thats very nice of you to say... There are some lovely systems though in this gallery. :)

Pop over sometime if you want, no probs.

And thanks guys for the continued kind words too... :)

Lush! Bet is sounds superb

Where did you get the rack from? Just curious.

Also, how do you find the TD124? I understand it's a classic and goes for lots of money, but I've always wondered what they sound like.

I got the table made and adapted from a console table design. I'll be needing something different soon.. something with doors... lol

The TD124 is an amazing sounding deck. I had this one sent back and refurbished in Switzerland by Schopper. Full strip down and re-build.

I came from a Gyrodec SE of which was superb but I haven't looked back.

Very simular too! btw.. the tubes run cold and don't get hot if thats what a case is needed for... they don't even get in the sligtly bit warm.

Ohhh man, what a great system.

I love it when a setup consists of (at least) some Vintage gems.
Yours does: beautiful Quad Tube amps, some nice Tannoys (no idea what Lancaster cabs are *) and of course the Thorens 124.

I certainly believe it sounds bloody nice!

*) I searched, so now I know :)

Regards,

Thur.
