I know some one who has a pair for sale. They have come out of small private studio.
I have heard them and they sound fine.
The veneers are slightly different in colour.....might be faded on one. Not checked the serial numbers so not sure if matched pair.
I can get more details if anyone is interested.
He is looking for £300.
They will go on ebay, but I suggested there might be interest here first.

They are in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

I can take photos etc if there is interest. (Sale is nothing to do with me...I'm just passing info on.)

Hi Gerry,

I can take photos etc if there is interest.

Yes please! I've never understood that mentality when people advertise stuff for sale, as if photos were treated as a bonus... You *need* photos to GENERATE the interest in the first place!! ;)

Folk like to see what they're buying!

So let's be 'avin them, matey - nice clear, close-up pics please, hosted in either Imageshack or Photobucket

Marco.

Marco, I will get photos of them. I really wasn't sure if there would be interest, and I had just popped in to see the guy w/o camera etc.
I will go back tomorrow and take them pronto!

At £300 I would be interested,

Nigel

Photos as requested.

The ABRs look as if they have had a pad attached to them (I remember this being quite a popular thing to do years ago!). The yellow stuff, I'm not sure what this is, but from my look the foam/rubber surrounds are still in tact.

They are not a pair. The rear of the speakers the have the name plate in different locations, and one has a veneered from and the other (earlier one?) does not.

One small chip on one corner.

Tweeters are not the originals, but agreed, the price appears to be good ;)
