I have a Opera Consonance ST600 tonearm which I have just fitted to a deck. I have had the arm a little time and since I bought it it has gone out of production and I believe the UK importer never had one in stock, I got mine from Canada.
The weight of the arm is 1130gm and the advised cartridge weight is 4 to 16gm. In HiFi+ it is suggested that a low compliance cartridge is used to gain the best results.
Can any of you kind souls recommend a reasonable, but good low compliance cartridge. All my system is 'neutral' in character and I would like to carry that through to the cartridge. The arm has an integrated headshell.
