Not from outer space, but closeby is this up and coming hifi enthusiast who found this nice looking forum some weeks ago(nice looking colors and avatars made me stay!). The discussions here seems on the enthusiastic side, and away from ranting opinionators, right where it should be when talking about something you love.
I am in the process of upgrading my quite modest hifi as of now to a system that will prove it's value on a lot of good music from my shelfs. I have just bought a new power amp and are looking at the other components for a decision this week. Will post more on that later.
I am very much into vinyls which must be the way someone out there meant music should be listened to. Also got a lot of CD's so that work as well, and good radio is always nice for the soul. All kind a music at my place, like much jazz, blues, northern soul, southern soul, world music, folk, rock, heavy, classic and some more. Download and online music is convenient, but not quite up my alley. Have a spotify account, but never uses it. Want to listen to some I can hold as well.
Seems like I can learn a lot from here, hope I can contribute some back too.
