Hi,

I've been asked whether a cable wired for use on a Creek 4040 would also work on a Naim Nait 5, and I'm struggling to offer an answer. Can anyone help with this?

So far as I can tell, the shape of the pin layout is suitable, it's just the wiring to the pins that I'm not sure about. It's a stereo cable, so 2 RCA to a 5-pin DIN, wired to send from the ancillary to the amp.

Does anyone know the answer to this?

Thanks :)

If you where sending a signal into the creeks DIN plug them its the same as a Naim Nait 5.

(I found a creek pdf that you sent me originally when you ordered the cable :) )

All you have to do to use a modern naim dedicated cable with the Creek is to temporarily remove the screw on the plug and slip the locking ring back behind it, replacing the screw to finish it off. From memory, the locking ring can get in the way..
