How can they take money with out more info?
I have no idea why the western world doesn't cut Nigeria off from all money transfers into there country till there government removes the Russian mop who has thousands of operating centers brain storming the next scam. They have huge rooms filled with trained people on phones and computers with faxes and power point presentations teaching total idiots how to rip us off.

And there government loves the money it brings in.
one good EMP bomb over Nigeria would go along way in stopping this.

An EMP bomb creates a massive hair standing static electrical charge only harmful to dust mites and micro chips.
Electro Magnetic Pulse to be exact, It seems to take out computers, fax machines, phones, radar, newer cars and other micro chip dependent devices in a burst lasting less than 1 second. It has been known to disorient and confuse dust mites and environmentalists and insect rights groups have been mounding a legal action against it's development, refinement and use.
It dose seem to be safe for humans.

Jeff,
I think you might be surprised to discover that Nigeria could actually be home to one or two people who are law abiding individuals who have never broken a law in their lives!

As a similar sort of person, would you be willing to have your hard drive, phone and car rendered useless in order to put a temporary stop to a crime such as fraud in the US?

Your right it would be sad for all 1 or 2 of them, the sad fact is the Nigerian government protects and aids the Russian mobsters in there efforts.
Corruption is Nigeria's National pass time.
Most of the computers and electronics there where bought with stolen money from old people on fixed incomes any way.

WHAT WOULD MARGRET THATCHER DO...

Turn a blind eye to it - that's what she did in the 80s anyway - bigger fish to fry then as there is now.

I look at the Nigerian scams as a sort of lesson in morality and common sense, two things now lacking badly in a lot of people - who gets suckered by Nigerian scams? - greedy, ignorant people who only believe what they want to believe - in other words the people who are the root of all the worlds problems...

Yes the Falkland Islands or Īles Falkland/Malvinas, depending where you are from in the world were re-taken by British troops (SAS and Commandos, etc.)
On June 14, 1982, Argentine forces on the Falkland Islands surrendered. So good old Maggie won the fight.

I think you're saying that that seems quite a small fish to bother frying, retaking those islands..

Kind of true in a sense , but then you can't let a desperate dictator who puts thousands of intellectuals and party opposition in prison and to death invade your people, no matter how few of them, in a desperate attempt to deflect attention from his fall from grace by stoking nationalism.

Needless to say, the toppling of his dictatorship that he was trying to prevent by invading the islands happened soon after his failure.

So I guess it could have been the thin end of a long wedge if allowed to happen.

Nope,I did not mean in any way to minimize that war or it's importance to the people living on those islands, they voted to remain under Britain.
I once had to disagree with a very close friend from Argentina.A place where people are abducted and killed by there government, inflation can go up 5% in the same day.And the police will rob your house.
Sadly the people are wonderful and know how to live, even under terrable times.
