It's hello fro me...

Howdo everybody...

....and greetings from a slightly damp Lancashire, still at least I've an excuse to stay put and play some vinyl!

I've got a slightly odd collection of gear and when I think, apart from the Spitfire DAC its all second hand or ex demo.

Consists of (pride and joy) PMC GB1 speakers driven by a Musical Fidelity X-150. I'm using a Roksan DVD player or Acer Laptop throught the DAC or a Project 6 TT rewired and serviced by Dom at North West audio who I see haunts this forum (Hi Dom). Best think of it as work in progress:)

Musical tastes are many and varied, Ian Matthews, Al Stewart, Fairport and so on, ah yes and the Small faces, a popular beat combo of the sixties amongst many others,

Anyway thats enough blather from me.....:cool:

I 'm pretty happy with everything as it stands although I may one day go down the pre/power route if something interesting crops up, and maybe another TT. But what I really must get is a cleaning machine. I got a couple of recent used vinyls I'd bought done on an Okki Nokki t'other month, it made quite a difference...

A belated welcome to AoS from me too Greg. As mentioned by Alex above, we're an eclectic group but we all share a love of music and suffer from terminal 'Audiophileitus' :lol:
Be wary of Alex as he has it worse than most: On clear, dark nights when a full Moon is slithering above the horizon he sprouts carbon fibre hairs and howls plaintively to CCR's Pale Moon Rising :lolsign:
