APC stood behind it's word!

I have manny of there filtered power conditioners and computer surge arrests.
even my laptop has an APC inline mini surge unit.
My tube gear is on there big H110.

A week ago an APC C3 filtered power conditioner died after 2 years.
When I called them,they took the model number and serial number and sent me out a new one Free. I got it in 2 days!

They where concerned if my sons stereo was ok and told me if anything was hurt they would cover up to $150,000 U.S. dollars replacement.

No Hassles at all.

This is not common these days,Way to go APC!

APC has been the standard in every server room I've ever worked in. In addition, we did have a huge system of another type which handled the EMC's, I believe. Still, all the IBM compatibles were on APC's. It's great to know they stand behind their product like that. The most we ever did to them was change the batteries.

I finally got one for my valve gear, as well. Now, I laugh at brown outs and black outs. A ha ha ha ha ha haaaaa.... I just stroll over to the gear now instead of sprinting like a mad man.

We're lucky here having a stable supply. Outages are rare.

I have some 11 APC UPSs in my server room and they've all worked fine since new. We replace the batteries about once every two years, otherwise we've had no issues at all.

I couldn't tell you how many we have in our IT estate, at least 100 I guess - and I've only known of one failure in 5 years - and like Jeff says, replaced without quibble. There's probably a very good reason why few IT professionals would buy anything else. :)
