Hi everyone,

A new recruit from the Angus area

I have been lurking for a while, but thought it was time to sign up.

Some of my kit is rather tired and in need of updating.

Currently have
Amp: Arcam alpha 2
Speakers b&w 600i (held together with duck tape!)
Squeeze box classic
Rega P2

I really need to buy a new amp and speakers at some point soon. I do have a peter daniels amp kit but just never had the time to assemble it.

Hello Rod and welcome to AoS. Make sure you use only the finest duct tape, you don't want the sound falling apart on account of poor tape :lol:

Ha yes its quality duck tape :lol: I use the same stuff to hold my greenhouse together!

Hi Rod, welcome from me too. Sounds like the speakers have been well (ab)used then! Good old Duck tape - fix anything with it!

With cats and kids, the next set of stand mounters will need to be bolted to the floor :)

I have heavy oak stands but the cat still knocks them over if he see's a pheasant in the garden.
