Hi John,very good question that for a sound forum site LOL, I should of put that on my welcome page...anyway i like anything with a fast low beat but Phil Collins,queen,lady gaga,Quo,Level 42,Santana are just a few to mention but as long as its good quality ill listen to anything..

That's the spirit - and welcome to AoS Carlton! (Music snobbery is one thing that winds me up - not that we have any here I can think of - if you like it, you like it - end of story!) This does of course mean I have a lot of embarrassing records, but so be it! (Not that they're embarrassing, but I'm off to find some Level 42 as I haven't played any in a while, and I loved them in the 80s/90s - cheers!)

I hope you have fun getting back into hifi - I've personally never "left" it - but there was a lean time when I had a fit of peak (under duress from the first wife!) and packed it away for a mini system about 18 years ago! :eek: Luckily wife #2 understands my "foibles" and lets me get away with probably far too many fugly boxes! Just one word of warning - this site can seriously damage your wealth - so hope you avoid any temptations, but I can't guarantee it! If you stick around long enough, the upgrade bug is bound to bite, and that's before you go discovering loads of new music to buy!
