Hi goroman,
I have the T61p, not sure what the difference is between the T61 and T61p, but the T61p has been doing the business for me for the last three years now and I use it all day, everyday.

Nathan,
I just found out mine has the Nvida Quadro FX 570M PCI express X16 video card.
That means mine has the same card yours dose. The T60 P came with a gaming graffix card standard. There was 3 levels of video to choose from ours was the top level.
Intel GMA X3100 not specified
ATI X1400 128 shared
Nvida Q. FX 570M 256 Dedicated + 512 shared
At the time this was the best laptop video card available.
What is this?
Would Windows 7 support it?

I did some checking and it's has loads of driver issues, more trouble than it's worth.
I got a Momentus XT hybrid ssd /disk 500gig. and 64 bit win.7 for the tank.
Soon the old Toshiba will be put up in a closet as a back up.
This new hard drive is pretty fast.
And cooler than the WD scorpio black.

Should be great.
Maybe install some more memory to make it 3 or 4 Gb total.
A fresh install of windows 7 and it should be great, a good price if its all OK.:)

I upgraded to 4 gigs. DDR2 6400 at 800mhz.
I bought a Seagate Momentus XT with 4 gigs solid state on a 7200 RPM disk.
And I bought Win 7 64 bit premium. Now I am loading up my programs.
Thank you for the link Mark.
It's an older computer but it specs out nicely and it is rugged.
The tank is alot faster than the old Toshiba,I got all my programs installed and now the hard part. Transferring files.
Any suggestions?
