For about a week now i have been getting a pop up window appearing while navigating the web, just the usual stuff checking mail etc.
It says "the server........@ DSL Router requires a user name and password."
Its creeping me out a bit and im wondering if its some trojan or something :scratch:
Any ideas?

Hmmm, not seen that one before Colin, have you tried Googling the exact words of the error message?

:doh: Yeah goo idea mate. All the results are to do with Sky broadband. Turns out its not phishing or any thing like that its either wiring ( just changed my filters to fancy ones) or firmware problem on the router.

Sounds like a phissing scam to me. Type in some false data and see if it goes away.

Around here the ADSL and cable companies have started requesting a logon the first time you use their connection... maybe you should check with your provider
