Hello folks i have replaced the arm with a rb251 with a denon dl110 cart and a michell tecnoweight. Also i have removed the transformer psu to a seperate box.The TT now sounds fantastic.Would a psu from OL or other companys be a major step forward. It would have to be a night and day difference to make me buy one.

Cheers mick

I do not have a 1210 but from what I read the PSU is one of the biggest upgrades you can get, think of it as the foundation to other mods if you wish to upgrade further

After modding the hell out of my1210 I would strongly recommend you read all of the threads in the this forum here + some over in the DIY section of AOS. It sounds like you have the skills to mod your deck so you should have no problems in doing the varios "tweeks" to the deck. You may also want to plan your upgrade path as there are a lot of people now offering various PSU's bearing, platters, etc etc.

Jostber - I don't believe you've posted an introduction thread in the Welcome section of the forum - you should have been advised when you joined the forum that this is something we like all members to do, please - tell us a little about yourself, your system and music taste so we can get to know you a little better.

Many thanks, and welcome to AoS. :)
