Hi all,
Have been a lurker for a while now but finally decided to register and post. Nice forum you've got here.
Living in Dublin. My system is as follows
Speakers: Usher Audio CP 8571
Turntable : Clearaudio Performance SE with Satisfy-Carbon-Tonearm + Maestro MM cartridge
CD Player: Wadia 861i
Preamp : Music First Audio Passive Magnetic Preamp (Silver version)
Power Amp : GamuT D200 Sirius Mk111
Phonostage : Project Tube Box II SE
IC Cables : 2 x Nordost Vahalla Balanced IC's, 1 x Nordost SPM Reference
Power cables : Dalkey Audio Reference chord, Russ Andrews.
Speaker Cable : Nordost Superflatline gold.
Will post some pics later.
In the coming months, I'm seriously considering upgrading the speakers to a pair of Kharma Ceramique 3.2fe's and the amps to a Jadis or Airtight.
Music tastes are quite varied. Classical, Blues, Jazz, Classic rock, folk rock, singer/songwriter, I'll pretty much listen to a lot of stuff and am always looking for new music or artists. Anything bar modern day dance, RnB, nu-metal, or chart stuff. :-)
Work in Electronics and have worked in HDMI chip design and some DAC designs too. But dont worry, Im not a measurement troll! ;)
All the best,
Dave
