My poor, lovely little TD150 has been sat on the shelf in our spare bedroom and I can't bear to see it not being used. So, needs must therefore it's up for sale.

It has no arm fitted, but is drilled for an SME - Russ Collinson will make armboards for it and will set you back around 20 quid.

This 150's in lovely condition, works perfectly and has a very recently fitted, new drive belt (genuine Thorens - cost 30 quid). The bearing's also been cleaned and re-lubed with the Audio Origami oil. Works beautifully.

I've removed the 45rpm changing fork and control rod - I never play 45's and just thought it might introduce resonance which was not desirable. I've got the original bits though and it's easy enough to re-fit it.

For this piece of belt-driven suspended-chassis loveliness I'm asking just £45 which for something which will give a (very) early LP12 a good run for its money is a bit of a bargain.

I would much rather not send it through the post - the thought of this little turntable getting damaged is almost unbearable, especially as it's in such nice condition. I'm in mid-Lincs, about 3 miles from Sleaford. I'll deliver it up to a 100 mile radius for the cost of fuel (let's say £20).

Thanks. :)

A bargain for someone... Do you still have the speed change paraphernalia, as it really is necessary to locate the belt and aid centering, especially when the latter becomes middle aged? When the belt becomes too old, it'll slip off when starting I think.
