The Daily Express has kindly asked 1007 people about there thoughts regarding the tickets for the Olympics. 59% think it was unfair.
But why? There are a finite number of tickets so when the 'man on the street' questioned in the BBC report says 'Well I applied in the first round and didn't get any tickets and that is unfair' it is just not very constructive.
The chap they interviewed in the news room about it then starting piping on about how 'it was unfair and we need to get more Londoners there'. Hang on... People from outsite of London shouldn't have an equal right? Hypocrisy!
Yes, lots of people didn't get tickets. But lots of people did, and (on the surface) it seems like people had near enough equal chances to get them.
People are apparently more confident that public transport will be fine throughout the Games. Judging by the current reports about the conditions down there in the last few days, I'll be interested to see how that all pans out.
