Hi Dominic, how much does this nice looking bit of kit weigh in at if you don't mind me asking? :)

Hi Mark. The puck weighs in around 650 grams. Not overly heavy, just enough to press the record onto the mat. It is very tactile too.

Am i right in thinking slate is much less resonant than granite?

Yes i do like the look of it, cheers for the reply :) Once i get my TT set up "properly" i reckon one of these may be on the cards!

Perfect match for a Townsend Rock i'd imagine :eyebrows: Sorry, i just couldn't help myself..

Hi Colin, yes slate is far less resonant than granite. Granite rings like a bell whereas slate is almost completely neutral.
With my slate plinths you could knock the plinth quite hard and still not pick it up with the stylus in the groove!

Just to prevent any confusion, I have had to increase the price due to some moderation I have had to make and with cost of packaging etc. Price for solid slate puck is now 79.95.
