For Sale My QUAD ESL989s - £1700

As it says on the tin my ESLs are for sale. They have been well looked after and apart fom one little stain (barely noticable) caused by my son's friend throwing a banana which landed on one of them, they are perfect.

They are in black and I will add photos if necessary.

I have no boxes and its collection only from Newbury. You will hear them connected to my Shanling CD player and my EAR509 amps making a lovely noise. Free coffee.

Er indoors has said that they must go, I love my house too much to argue.

Never heard 989's but I used to love the 63's, if these are an improvement they must be something special. Good luck with the sale.

The price for these has dropped to £1500. I haven't really tried to sell them but 'er indoors says that they must go......and so they will.

They are lovely speakers and I wish I did not have to sell them...
£1500 for the pair and they are yours. At this price they are close to the ESL 57s which I loved (but these are better!) let alone ESL'63s which these also beat.
