Hello All...

I am a muscian.. all rounder type.. drums bass guitar.. i have now gone down the live and studio engineering route.. while still playing in bands.. (bass player at the mo) ..
I am about to go to UWL in west london this sept to study..Advanced Engineering.
Which is gonna be very exciting.. as along side this i shall be setting up my home studio.. which I have decided to make 80's/90's retro.. (NS10m's, DBX, Solid State, etc)
So if any of you can help with advice on this please do get in touch..
I would say less is more.. but 2nd hand is so cheap!! (kinda)
I have another post in regards to Tube/Solid State amp kits..
which again if any of you can help in regards to what, where and how.. please get in touch..

my first purchase for Co.Lab studio was on Friday.. a pair of Tannoy Reveals (passive) and 20mt of high end (brand new) cables for ... £40.. bargain i'd say.. good sound too.. currently using a Arcam Alpha One (spare as Cambridge Audio blew up..see post) Sony DAT (retro!) Cambridge Audio D300 Special Edition CD player. TEAC V 1050 cassette deck (vintage)

spares; x2 Warfdale Diamond II, Mondrant-Short MS 902 (and x2 bose swivel cubes)

lots of other musical stuff too.. inc guitars drums percs..valve amps.. cabs.
