Hi all, Dominic here from Northwest Analogue. I am proud to announce the new solid slate racking system.
This is a modular design, one shelf fits on top of each other, supported by adjustable spikes.
You order as my shelves as you need and simply place one on top of the next, or side by side.
The shelves will require minimal assembly, but everything is included, even the alan key!

Dimensions for standard shelf are 640 x 400 x 20mm. Legs can be any length between 60mm and 230mm.
Legs are 50mm square.
Price per shelf is £270 inc vat and shipping to UK. For other areas please contact me for shipping costs.

Other custom sizes can be ordered including AV style long shelves, and longer legs for either standard or custom shelves. Prices on request.
Cheers,
Dom

Oh bloody hell!

Somebody stop me.... I've already 'mentally spent' about a grand and that's before even asking about the possibility of a turntable plinth!

I've just looked at your website, and we are looking to get our Thorens turntable serviced, rewired and a new cartridge installed. You look like just the sort of bloke who could do it for us!

Hi folks. I have some info on the weights.
A standard size shelf with 230mm legs will weigh approx 23kg, so a bit of a heavyweight.
Bear this in mind if your seriously considering purchasing!

That rack really is a beauty and would suite my current system and setup (http://theartofsound.net/forum/showpost.php?p=227085&postcount=19) perfectly.

I guess have to start putting my pennies aside for this as I knowing the prices the shipping outside UK won't be cheap ;) Could you estimate shipping details to Finland for base and four shelves and I can start torching myself with the idea..

Hi Mika, thank you so much! The rack really is a thing of beauty if I say so myself.
I will get back to you asap with a price. So do you require 5 layers including the base? I ask because the base can be used as the first shelf.
Will you be wanting standard size shelves and what leg lengh for each layer?

Hi folks. Slate rack now on permanent demonstration at Northwest Analogue for anyone wishing to pop over and have a look and listen.
These racks are a revelation.
Every component will benefit if sat on these slate racks.
Detail, imaging, noisefloor etc are all improved. This also extends to AV components. I was quite amazed when watching a Blu Ray at the increase in picture detail as well as much improved sonics.
