Copper Top Grado

Can anyone confirm whether or not "Grado hum" is quieted down or eliminated with the use of a copper mat and/or a MN platter with bonded copper mat?

I have one Grado cart left and if a "copper top" doesn't do the trick it's about to be evicted.

I ran a Grado Prestige Black and Gold on a SL1210Mk2 (standard), neither of them hummed at all:scratch:
