Hello from Vancouver

Hi I just joined in after some time just browsing and reading....I am in Vancouver, Canada and I listen mostly to classical and jazz music. I am in the hobby for 35 years stared as musician playing drums and piano. My first system was my parents tube radio/turntable unit in their living room!I bought my first records and spent all afternoons to listen to them there until the parents came home and reclaimed the living room......My system now is Apogee Duetta Signature speakers, Kharma KP 150 amplifiers, Accuphase preamplifier, Marantz CD7,EMT 938, Sony TC 765 and Sansui tuner....

Ah, welcome prcinka. You're a lucky man living in Vancouver. I'd love to go back :) Shame what happened to Stanley Park in the bad weather a while back - have they managed to fix all the damage yet?

Yes, the Canucks are on the go! (Hopefully....) the Stanley Park is getting back to what it used to be....no winds like these we have seen that year, thankfully....but lots of rain! Well,...
Regarding the Marantz, I just found that there were two types for power transformers(two service catalog numbers exist), so I am now looking for one with the Euro destination number, as that one is suppose to be the 120/220V model. Any Marantz service people around?
