With all the (warranted) excitement over Mini-T amps and their like, there now seems to be one glaring omission: the Mini-T has only one pair of inputs. Fine for a CD/Touch only system but not for one (such as mine) with a FM tuner, DAB tuner, Phono and tape deck to feed as well as output from my Caiman.

What I need is a passive switcher unit to feed the Mini-T to cater for all these inputs. It could, perhaps, be battery powered (to feed LEDs).

I see a marketing opportunity here - for people such as Stan B. Perhaps one version could have his excellent DAC and/or his phono pre-amp.

Or perhaps there is such a unit already....?

Hi Bonky,

I understand exactly what you mean, I have the same issues, however I am planning on building a lightspeed attenuator with onboard DAC and switching. I did see this which looks to be a viable option with regard to the problem:- http://box-designs.com/main.php?prod=switchbox&cat=amplifier&lang=en

There is a phono/RCA version of the TC-7220 due soon. I signed off the case artwork on the 8th of this month.

Great news Stan. Can you give us any idea on the specs?
