Buddha only knows if I have this in the right section but assuming I do whoopee!!
I know everyone has their location in their signature but one can't look through all the chaff to discover who lives in one's area?
Does anyone live in the London area and fancy a meet? To discuss and listen to stuff.
I have what I consider to be a goodish system but have never compared it to another.
Anyone fancy a night of complete debauchery of red wine/beer and music?
Might be fun...:eyebrows:
I work nights so it may be hard to fit in but not impossible.

For some reason they have come to be called bake-offs.
I live in Epping which is just about London, about 5 mins from Epping Station, end of the Central line, where are you.
AND my place or yours sweety :eyebrows:

How dare you !!!! I am not that fat, just a little overweight. I can still just about see it when I need to.
I have done two turntable and one computer audio bake-off at my place, they are good fun.

Also good fun is a bake-off show like Scalford. I did a London one last year and lost money because none of the big forums supported it, but those that came had a great time.
Distinct lack of interest in doing one this year though, unless AoS wants to get involved in helping organising it. I think *1* AoS member came last year and that was Beechwoods.

....I came Richard - I was jointly running the speakers room........
Interested in helping out this year as well if you are indeed thinking of setting one up...

Sorry forgot, so there were two of you out of the 60 or so that attended.
I am up for sponsoring it again (perhaps with some other of your bodgers), I have the same venue available which will cost £1000 for the day, same format which worked everyone agreed, so we need a guaranteed 100 to attend at £10 each to cover costs.
Richard
Not that it matters, but I think that there were some more AoS-ers there too, such as Shuggie (Hugo) and John (music room mod), and probably a few more, if I thought about it for long enough...
If you organise the bake-off again, and you're still an active member of AoS by the time it takes place, you'll get much more support from here next time! ;)

I can vouch for this; also for the quality of the food!

Fancy another one in early July, what theme this time?
The show one takes a lot more effort and commitment. I would have to know we would get the numbers this time.
