The transport chassis used here was built by Peter Daniel and - I think - looks superb. Nice and weighty for such a small size due to the fact he uses a solid 5mm thick Copper base. All parts purchased from new, and carefully assembled by myself. Takman carbon film resistors used at the digital output. Black Gate 'N' and Rubycon ZL used in critical positions for the power supply.

Custom wound toroidal PSU transformer (from Canterbury Windings) housed within a Hammond enclosure. MSR860 diodes used for rectifying, as per Peter Daniel's design.

Sounds fantastic - one of those few players that turns digital into an involving and (dare I say it) analogue-like experience. It's been compared to CD transports costing a GREAT deal more.

Reason for selling: I'm after more kit, plus I tend to use my Mac mini & DIY DAC more these days so Shiga needs to go.

Asking price £450. PM me if interested. Sorry but I'll only sell to those that have more than a few posts on here, and UK only please.

Would also swap for a MINT condition Technics SL-1200 (silver) plus decent PSU, or a Pioneer RT-909 reel to reel.
