Hello and thanks for looking, I feel bad about this but I have to sell my Leak.
Iv had this amp about fifteen years and its never given me a minute of trouble.
Used at first with Leak Sandwich and then Tannoy Monitor golds, for the last ten years its been working with my Tannoy Ardens to great effect
All these Speakers are very efficient and make the most of the Leaks 10wpc
Ive owned six of these and this was my first, and also the best sounding example. When I bought it I took it to Mike Pointer at Station Sounds in Worthing and he fitted it with new Phono sockets and Speaker Terminals, checked it over and pronounced it in good health.
Some five years later I had the large caps on the top of the unit replaced as the originals were starting to go.
And that is it, everything else is original.
It was made in November 1961, three weeks before I was born.

The Valves are about a Year old, Electro Harmonix, the EL 84"s are Cryo treated.

I am asking £550 with the Mullard GZ 34 or £520 with a new Golden dragon
GZ 34

buyer pays postage or you can hear and collect in Cardiff.

Paul, the pictures are not displaying? If you PM me and tell me where they are, maybe I can help out?

EDIT: Or I can put them up for you if you email them to me, but a PM would be required for this too, as I won't post my email address ;)

With all due respect the components (small caps) in the picture look far from orginal to me

If they have been changed it was done by Mike Pointer and I couldnt remember him telling me, it was fifteen years back, I just asked him to sort it out, one thing I do recall is he only charged me £20, gentleman!

Do you mind me asking......how much did you sell it for?

£410 the Amp, £30 the Mullard, £20 solid Silver mains cable, £21 postage in two
boxes and ebay will take a percentage of that lot, so I'm not exactly over the moon about the outcome but everything else I've sold has exceeded expectations so win some lose some.
