Goraman vs. food

None of my friends have beat me or even finished my 1.5 pound cheese burger.(1.5 pounds of ground beef )+ the rest of it.

39 seconds to the last swallow. That means the pickles too.

You have to really squeeze it all together just to get your mouth around it.

What could be better than a big medium rare greasy cheese burger seasoned with garlic, rosemary,Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke.
Red onion, romaine lettuce, tomato,a slice of American cheese, mayonnaise, ketchup and mustered on a 6 inch white bread bun.

With a few Henry Weinhard's private Reserve Lager beers.

Ever since I was a teen I could out eat all my friends and was the skinniest kid in school. I have been checked for tape worms and have none.

It is nothing for me to eat a whole large pizza with a pitcher 0 beer.
It pisses off my wife who eats a slice of double cheese pizza and gains 10 pounds.

It's nothing to be proud of, your health will be suffering. Your wife must be worried.

Now that's a tasty burger!

None of yer English stodge, cottage pie, shepherds pie you can keep it.:ner:

That's what I love about the 'States - proper food. Yes it's bad for you and will kill you in the end. But so will oxygen. Next time I am over there Jeff I am coming round your place to eat!

Eating contests and cooking are a passion of mine,I always cook too much food,no one has ever left our table wanting.
And on the odd occasion over a couple of beers like tonight with my neighbor Fred who said it's imposable to eat such a big burger in one sitting. I said how about in under one minute?
Well it took me 39 seconds to wolf it all down with the small pickles, he finished half and couldn't eat another bite over about 4 or 5 min.
It was just fun to see the look in his face when I took the last hunk and finished before his 3rd bite.

Have you guys ever seen a real professional eater?

Notice none of the worlds top competitive eaters are fat, in fact there all skinny!
Could you imagine the next day on the crapper after eating 66 hot dogs and buns,it better not be a low flow toilet!

That looked to be a proper char-grilled burger, none of your processed cr@p we get here...

Being diabetic now, I have to watch what I eat, although our PD day at work provided free food (we were hosting a number of local primary schools in various "workshops"). I treated myself to a slice of toffee cheesecake, while trying to ignore the tons of sugar and fat in it. I'll even have a small bar of chocolate occasionally, but that's it :(

Seriously, just do this for a treat, but please don't make it a regular thing????????

It was grilled on the BBQ and no one eats like that regularly.

I like my beef med rare and when the center of the burger is 150 to 160F it's done.
It was cooked most of the way through and pink with just a hint of rare in the center at 150F.

When you grill a 1 and a half pound meat patty cooked to well on the inside means dry as a bone on the outside (UNACCEPTABLE).

I wouldn't eat it that fast - it looks to good not to be savoured. Sadly few people in the UK know what a proper burger is. Good on you Jeff! I had a massive oriental lunch but I would love to have one of your burgers now!
