Nice work Andr'e, my first ever amp was a TRIO, had it for years and wished I still had it to be honest

They look nice and retro. I love older stuff, so much character than new hifi.

Nice one, dude. I do like those Trio amps. What's the difference between the two at the bottom?

They look identical, although they're different model numbers :)

Marco.

It looks like you've done a great job on those 3 little beauties Andre.
Nice - have you got my address? Just the 2000 will be fine - you can keep the 'A' though!

Just different amps Marco the one on the right (TK-150) is the older. The silver one on top ('KA-2000a') is the revised (New look 70's style) version of the bottom left ('KA-2000)

I'm not a fan of the silver but i keep it cos i can't help myself :lolsign:

Now the early brown facia Trio models are my main concern. No doubt i'll have em all before long..Others in this styling 'TK-250', 'KA-2500', 'TW31', 'TW61', a very very rare 1970 'MX1000' multi channel jobbie..also looking for rare again 1966 'Extreme 1' amp (earlier styling but a must)... i'll most probably have to import the last four.. :eyebrows:

Lovely kit, Andre. Strangely, I'm pretty sure that I've never owned any Trio kit!

I have to confess, though, that the main reason I look at your threads/posts is that avatar!

We had the 2000A as our workshop amp. Took all sorts of abuse and still kept running :) Didn't sound bad either I remember.
