...bummer... :( He's gone the way of Lady Day and John Coltrane.

At least, several of his early releases have been reissued on LP. It shouldn't be too hard for folks who may want to "catch up".

I was surprised and saddened to read of the death of poet-rapster Gill Scott-Heron at the age of 62.

It seems he died of illness having just completed a successful tour of Europe.

Amen, to that. 62 is no age, either. :( I've not yet got round to getting the latest album, or the "We're New Here" Jamie XX collaboration... click, click, done.
