Just called in here to say hi :cool:

Been into HiFi since about 1974 !!!! I only listen to either Vinyl or FLAC format @ 96Khz nowadays partly because I find it a lot easier on the ears than cd oh and I never felt the incentive to replace my 2500+ LPs with the cd equivalants LOL

Current equipment includes:-

Linn LP12 with all the goodies plus a fully modded Origin Live arm, Rega Bias II cartridge, Plattamat & Michell clamp.
Project Head amp
Marantz SR4200 used in Bi-Amp mode
Van Den Hul Skytrac Bi-Wire speaker cable
Musical Technology Kestrel Speakers

Musical tastes include any track that has a Gibson Les Paul on it !!!! Plus:-
Zappa
Beatles
Grateful Dead
Gong
Hawkwind
Here & Now
The Damned
Love
Hendrix
etc etc

Hi Kev, welcome to AoS :) Well i'm just the opposite, i have vastly more CDs than vinyl, but like yourself (in certain respects) i listen to DSD (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Direct_Stream_Digital) & i find it to be superior to standard CD playback! I get to keep spinning my CDs to :eyebrows:

Not too many on here with LP12s, you'll no doubt find a friend in Thing Fish as he also owns an LP12 ;)
