Hey Barry,
Will you be playing 'Desire' by any chance?

Heck, Chris - don't tell me it's a "must have" title of Dylan's; I passed up on a second hand CD copy found in a hippy junk shop in Conwy last week.

Bought a Van Morrison disc instead.

My fault - I moved my post from there when I realised it should have been here - sorry!

Anyway, as I was saying (over there):
It's actually my favourite of his albums, but I thought it might be useful for you to give it a listen purely for 'investigative purposes'.

I just had a phone call from a mate and 'The Times They Are A-Changin' was playing at the time..... I had to laugh, when after a few seconds on the phone he said "What's the noise in the background?" and the tone in his voice wasn't complimentary

Even at 70 he still divides opinion

I'd agree with your mate Tim - thank god I missed the day!

I'm afraid a Dylan concert I went to around 1986 with my then girlfriend remains singularly the worst concert experience I've ever had. To say that he couldn't sing would be a gross understatement. I was very relieved to get out of there but had to hold my opinion to myself as she loved it

He's a good songwriter but that voice...:spew: Sorry but I have tried. Several times...:(
