I refer of course to this > http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11269 and one of my cats, Ebony in this instance, who selected the winner! A rather heavy package will be on its way to Mr Waller later this week.

That was fun and so I might do another one of these in June.

I've been asked to explain how the cat operates when in winner selection mode.

"That you can actually rely on your felines to perform a complex task is no mean feat!"

Ah. Well. The cat had to walk across the post-it notes to get to the food and then return over them to get to the litter tray. Interestingly the route taken by the cat from the release position is rarely linearly straight. Guess that's something to do with how hungry he is at time. The longest duration bum-plant decided the winner. Usually took place on the return trip!

Clearly there's a lot more science to this selection process than there is in choosing the World Cup host. FIFA would do well to borrow Ebony...

Indeed. Usefully Ebony is unmoved by money and remains curiously indifferent to vet bills inc £83 just this morning. Ebony works effectively with cuddles, food and a clean tray. In the absence of a human family, he is indeed ideal.
