Hi All.
I need a chea p pair of speakers for my spare room.There`s a pair of Technics sb-cs55s advertised for £40 locally,can anyone tell me if theyr`e
anygood please? cheers

They dont look to be anything special. I wouldnt pay more than £10 for them. And only then if they are mint and sound good.
There are much better to be had for £40.

I've a set of mint wharfdale diamond ......
fab little stand mounters your for £25 plus p and p ...if they float your boat.
be happy to demo them as your relatively local ....so you may save on pand p !

Technics did make some great speakers in their time, but they are not some of them imo. These are though, only heard them once...

They look very nice, is that SU-RX50? number a bit had to see in the pic.

For a bidget of around £40 , i suggest a nice pair of Mordaunt Short MS20i Pearl edition , got mine for £36, sweet sounding speaker , love em.
You will need some stands though .

Take a look at the small Jamo speakers which sound very good indeed and are inexpensive.
Some do have rear facing reflex ports so might not be suitable for siting close to rear walls
I would also love to hear these.
