Hi
I am posting on behalf of a friend who wants to sell his turntable.
He bought it all as new about 20 years ago. The whole system he recons has had about 50hrs use, no more than 100hrs . . hence deciding to sell it !!
As stated, it's a systemdek IIx 900 turntable. It has a Roksan Tabriz arm with the Zi upgrade and comes with a Roksan Chorus Black cartridge. Lovely setup, lovely sound, but deserves some use !!
I'm afraid it will be pick up only from Rainham, Kent, just off Jnct 4 of the M2
Research seems to suggest that the arm alone can fetch up to £300 on ebay !
Would you guys be able to help us out price wise for selling complete ?
much appreciated.
Photos will be added soon
cheers

Hi
Would you guys be able to help us out price wise for selling complete ?
Sorry, Paul - I'm not quite clear here. Are you looking for a buyer or an idea of what it's worth?
Cheers

Sorry, looking for a buyer, but was hoping for some advice before putting a price on it . . don't want to price it too low or too high.
hope that's ok ?

That's fine, I just wasn't sure what you were after.

ok, I've had a chat.
It seems that a basic IIX 900 (no arm etc) fetches £100+
The arm new these days is around £800 !! . . obviously this is the newer version. A standard second hand tabriz fetched £250 recently, my friend's one has the upgrade weight and cable (Zi upgrade)
the cartridge is now discontinued I think, but is priced at around £300 new on what hifi reviews.
with these values in mind, my friend is thinking of offers in the region of £450
anyway, let me know what you think.

just a thought, we are planning on visiting a friend in Nottingham in the near future.
we could take the turntable up. Maybe this could be an option if Rainham is too far to travel ?
any interest then send me a pm
cheers
