Just a little curious about this phono stage.

Any members here using this phono stage?

And just out of Curiosity. What cartridge and turntable does Mr Croft use with his RIAA phono stage?

I know he likes Decca
HiFi Dave sells them and might know the answer to what TT

It's an excellent phono stage and extremely good value, as are all Glenn Croft's products.

Glenn uses Decca cartridges.

Isn't the phono stage the same as in the Micro Basic?
In which case you get a line stage and volume controls etc thrown in for minus£100?

It's not the same.

Ah. Same as the £700 Micro, then?

Very similar but obviously has the power supply all to itself.

I thought you told me it was the same as the "R" version mate?

Don't think so..

It's slightly better than the Micro 25 phono stage but has the whole power supply to work with.
