Joined up due to a recommendation from an existing member (Tony Trios). Have put a couple of system pics and a system description up on gallery. Oh, that doesn't mention the mono set up, which is an SME 3012 and an SPU
CG25i.


Taste in music? Everything from Bach to Tom Waits, Robert Johnson to Debussy, Nick Cave to Charley Patton with lots of Bruckner, Mahler and Led Zeppelin thrown in...

Audio fan for, well, decades. I don't know much but do enjoy music.

Hi Wayne, welcome to AoS :) Pleased to see that you have now added pictures to your gallery thread, i thought i was imagining things when i saw the size of the room :stalks: Then i saw you mention that it was purposely built :eek:

I guess you'd call the dedication! Must have cost a pretty penny, bet it's worth it though... I better start doing the lottery :doh:

Hi Wayne, welcome to AoS and glad to have someone as dedicated as you join our happy band of fellow addicts!

I'll have my own listening room one day - (share options or lottery win permitting) but I doubt it will be as cool or as big as yours!

If you're new to forums, I can honestly say you have picked the best place to start. Indeed, you may not find any need to go anywhere else... Without wishing to be too big-headed, AoS is by far the friendliest of the forums in my opinion, and there is (I hope) no snobbery, elitism or otherwise - there are a few "in" jokes, (hope you like wearing women's clothes! :eek:) but generally if you want to get involved and chat with like-minded people about hifi or anything else then you should have fun (just don't mention politics, religion or the Royals and you'll be ok! ;))

Get stuck in, and enjoy the forum. :)
