Acos M6 - anyone familiar with?

Hi,
I have a Trio KD2070 which came with, from what I can work out an Acos M8 cartridge. I have googled it & not come up with anything but replacement styli. I just wonder if anyone has any knowledge of them, i.e. were they a budget cartridge in their day, what they were comparable to & what would be a good upgrade. It's unlikely to be for a while, but any info would be appreciated.

From memory, these were quite reasonable low budget "cooking" cartridges. I am going back nearly forty years ago here, so could be wrong.

I suspect modern cheapies like the AT95E, Pickering XV15-VE (both around thirty quid) and baby Grado (around fifty still) would be rather better, let alone the AT120E, which is a rather more refined thing altogether.

I now have an idea of how much I need to spend to better it, when I have the money.
