ive seen people banging on about "lack" stuff on here before and im sure i have seen one of these

if i could find out the width of the legs on that one i might be on to something ... supposed to be going to ikea tomorrow anyway ... so i can measure it ... but now i have spotted it on their site i am impatient to find out :)

Looking at it won;t it be the same as the outside? i.e:

I have a lack coffee table i used to use for the telly, 90 cm wide. A lot bigger than i expected. The tv looked good on it.

Well assuming that's it the inside dimensions are over 85cm. Just stick a tape measure to the screen & it will become self evident :eyebrows:

The legs are about 5cm wide.

Hamish, shall we make it even easier :lol: If it's 100cm wide & has 5cm wide legs & there are two legs, one either side (which adds up to 10cm), what do you end up with if you take 10cm from 100cm :scratch:

Its the £20 basic ones you see on the first page. Served me well but its just in the way now ive plonked my tv on the sub.

I have that in the black-brown dark walnut colour, looks nice
The usable width on that one is 139 cm.

They can easily be double stacked so you have two shelves :)
this leaves a spare bit of wood for some other project.

i was thinking about stacking a couple ... are they designed with that in mind r would i need to get my drill out do you think?

Thanks to getting rid of some bits and bobs in the lounge and the rearrangement meaning there is nothing on the mains that isn't hifi or filtered through the pure av thingy it actually seems to sound a little better too ... Quieter ... Funnily enough ... Maybe it's in my head, who cares, Hannah is happier, I'm happy ... Happy days!

Actually, just had a thought, it might well be hard wiring the router to the computer that has made the sound better ... Either way ... :)

As Mark says, these Ikea racks are easy peasy to customise/stack whatever..
Made myself a custom TV bench /Storage Unit for the bedroom with one and one of the wee side tables.

Stacking two shouldn't be a problem.
You COULD just sit on on top of the other if you don't fit the legs?
Only problem is it might move slide about so sandwich some rubber sheet or whatever between them...sorted.
