Im sure there are a cootie (edit: what the hell is cootie.. iPhone auto spell thong is wierd sometimes) of you out there...
Any thoughts on Davaar?
I've just updated ... I could swear it's made a bit of difference ... If only slight ... There seems to be a touch more "openness" to the music ... More of an ease to the sound ...
I've read on the linn forum so many conflicting comments about if these updates make any difference ... So I have tried to go into this major version upgrade with a portion of cynicism ... But I think I can hear a difference!

Also, does anyone know if this "songcast" lark is compatible with non linn products? ... Probably one for the linn forum, but can't hurt asking ...

Iv'e long since stopped mentioning anything to do with Linn and Naim on this forum due to the ensuing ribbing that usually follows...:)

It's thanks to the likes of Linn that we have to endure "humorous" use of misspelt words when used in a commercial context - "Krazy Kuts" for a hairdresser's salon, and so on.

F*kwits !!!!

I think there should be a healthy cynicism toward the upgrade paths of both brands, but I also think try both deserve the respect they get!
All the hifis that have ever truely blown my mind have contained one or the other brand ... Saying that ... Naim have also managed to shock me with shitness ... Has anyone heard the ovator 600's? Yikes ... SHITE!

No, but the S-400's I heard were not good, either...

Madness int it ..
Not heard the 400's did they sound harsh to the point of discomfort by any chance?
Could have put it down to kit mismatch but the source was a Linn majik dsi ... Which I'm fairly certain I'm familiar with and a naim pre of some sort (282?) and 300 power ... Which you would have thought would have would have made a good combo???

I'm not going to mention it anymore. Let's just say i've got some glowy valves and a technics deck and leave it at that. It makes for a simpler life...
