Just found these chaps on the web - http://217.91.44.153/fmi/iwp/cgi?-db=SCR_Kunden&-loadframes

Anyone have one of their recordings or had any dealings with them?
I was just wondering what the quality is like. I may have a punt and see how it go's?
Billie Holidays 'Body and soul' takes my fancy...:)

Crime of the Century is to die for.
Joan Armtrading is superb if you can find a copy (it's out of print, and I'm not selling mine)

The company is fastidious about ensuring that the sleeve is accurate to original release (ie no bar codes where inappropriate).
They also do not attempt to slavishly reproduce the sonics of the original first release - they try to do a better job than was possible when much of their catalogue was first released.

I like them

I had their pressings of Ella Fitzgerald "Cole Porter Songbook" and "George and Ira Gerswin Songbook" (box set). They were excellent in every way. Unfortunately they got sold off (as did all my more expensive records) when I needed some money quickly a few years ago.

Buy with confidence.

I would echo what Chris has said, as I've got some Speakers Corner records, and the recordings on them are all top-notch. And they (miraculously) seem to know how to manufacture 100% warp-free vinyl, too, which can't always be said with products from other 'audiophile' record labels!

Incidentally, as this thread is essentially about music (and recordings thereof), it should exist in the music room, which is where it will now be going.

Always remember folks that when ascertaining where threads should be posted, it's the main subject matter which is the important bit, not so much the nature (digital, or analogue) of any products being discussed.

Cheers!
