A while back i contacted our own Hamish looking for a recommendation regarding a not too expensive but good small digital camera for the guy i look after, so his staff can take good photos on his days out.
Hamish recommended the Fuji 'Z300', i listern to Hamish cos he has a passion for Photography..we found one at an amazingly cheap price. Through the postie it came & wow what a loverly little thing, all metal with massive touch screen. Since then i, myself has purchased one i was that impressed.
Thanks very much to Hamish from both of us for the heads up, the single most usefull recommendation anyones ever given me.
See for yourself for the price it is rather good

That's amazing for a £76 camera! (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B002M2RLBU/ref=asc_df_B002M2RLBU2834393?smid=A230Q07CL2JWPH&tag=googlecouk06-21&linkCode=asn&creative=22218&creativeASIN=B002M2RLBU) I might get one just as a backup and for the days I don't want to lug the SLR around. Cheers guys. :)

Just for you Alex :) I have goggled for a discount code, enter P258BTCC467 in the cart and get it for £57.78 inc delivery :)
Now I have posted that they will sell out within hours :)
That code should work for other camera also.
I buy all our compact cameras as refurbs from Fuji, never had a bad one yet.
An F80 would be good:

or maybe an F300
https://secure.fujifilm.co.uk/shop/consumer/digital/digital-cameras/advanced-compact/finepix-f300exr
good prices with the code :)
Hope that helps.
That's a no-brainer then, isn't it - thanks Mark - much appreciated. :)

The thing with the z300 is that it was originally a £200 camera ... Fuji great for drastically reducing the cost of there cameras toward the end of thier run ... January - march time is always a good time to pick up a Fuji bargain ...
Glad you so pleased Andre, and cheers for the kind words, glad to be of service! :)

She hasn't used it very much,I really don't get that but yes,she has a lot of lenses now. Telephoto is 55-300mm a 35mm prime a 18-55mm a wide angle adapter and a set of 3 macro adapters both work well with the 35mm prime.
I even got her a Nikon Flash.
She just doesn't have much time and we just don't have any time together any more for me to encourage her.
