View Full Version : Audio Sanctum's First Open Day - 4th of June

Well the time has arrived for our first open day. So we are inviting you all to come and christen our demo room here in Mansfield, Nottingham. We will be running the open day from 12pm till 7pm.

The address is as follows;

The Log Cabin (next to Unit B)
Maunside

Notts
NG18 5GU (NG18 5GX if using satnav)

It's an open invitation so bring along whoever you please ;)

We will be demoing XTZ products for the open day using the new CD-100/11 (http://www.audiosanctum.co.uk/vmchk/CD-Players/XTZ-CD-100/11-CD-Player-Silver/Black.html)the upgraded version of the much loved CD-100. We will also have the A-100D3 (http://www.audiosanctum.co.uk/Integrated-Amplifiers/XTZ-Class-A-100-D3-Integrated-Stereo-Amplifier-Silver-and-Black.html)integrated amp, the AP-100 (http://www.audiosanctum.co.uk/Power-Amplifiers/XTZ-Class-AP-100-Power-Amplifier-Silver-and-Black.html) power amp and the 99.36's (http://www.audiosanctum.co.uk/Floorstanding-Loudspeakers/XTZ-99.36-Floorstanding-Loudspeaker-Piano-Black.html)and 99.25 (http://www.audiosanctum.co.uk/Standmount-Loudspeakers/XTZ-99.25-Standmount-Loudspeaker-Piano-Black.html)loudspeakers. We will more than likely have an offer on during the day but we will let you know about that closer to the time.

You're not far down the M1 from me, so I'll hopefully call in for a listen. I've not heard any of the gear you stock so it'll be interesting some new stuff. :)

Thanks for your hospitality yesterday Shaun, I had an interesting and enjoyable time. :) I was rather impressed by the XTZ setup on demo. I wasn't sure what to expect but I was pleasantly supprised. As I mentioned yesterday it totally blew away a much more expensive Cyrus/Dynaudio sytem I heard the other week. I always find it interesting to hear different systems to get a gauge of where I'm at with my own. You certainly gave me a lot to think about and proved to me that I still have several areas where I need to make improvements to get the balance of qualities I'm seeking.

Also many thanks for lending me the acoustic panel. I'll let you know how I get on. :cheers:

The day went well, there are quite a few less than hoped for that turned up but those that did commented that we had a really good sound and half of those that came took something away with them so I think it was quite successfull. We will definitely be doing it again in a month or so with a different system, maybe the Cayin retro gear.
