I also find this forum during my research for a DAC in the past and i have been reading it for months. Now, I finally decided to come in! heeh
humm, about my system?
You can read it in my signature, entry level Hi-fi (Still a student!) hehe
Presentation done! :)
Good grief Niel, we don’t allow young people on here
Before you know it you’ll be telling us it’s safe out on the streets and there’s nothing to be scared of out there. See, thing is mate most of us here spend so much time huddled around our stereos and reading all the news about the wicked world we forget to go out and find out for ourselves ;)
Try and avoid the “who just died” threads if you can, way too depressing………:(
Anyway, jolly good show, a young person and a student to boot! Get stuck in and a big welcome from me………..prolly need to shout a bit for some of the others……a bit deaf and all that ;)

Hi, i'm a tad confused here  Are you Neil or Nox? :eyebrows:
Welcome to AoS anyway :) Now that you have a signature up i'd suggest throwing the QED SA speaker cable as far away as possible very quickly & purchasing something a tad less bright & fatiguing ;)
Don't worry, i'm not picking on you or your choice of cable, everyone who uses QED Silver stuff gets the same treatment from other members. I was just the first to spot it
All the best & i hope you enjoy your stay

Hi Nox (is that right?)
A warm welcome from me too! Mark is right about your cables! I've never used them myself, but plenty here have and have taken the advice of the congregation, finding that (almost) anything else is an improvement. There are plenty of very cheap alternatives - the current favourite being discussed here on this forum:
http://theartofsound.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10894
......just a suggestion.
Anyway, I'm sure I speak for everyone here when I say I hope that you enjoy yourself on AoS.
Cheers
Hi Nox, welcome from me too. I'm not getting involved in the cable talk, except to say that I had the stuff when I joined... ;)
So, what sort of music do you like?
Enjoy AoS. :)
HYE ALL OF YOU!
I am new one on this forum..Nice to see all of you.
Hi Alecia, welcome to AoS.
If you're feeling brave, it would be nice if you could start your own thread in the Welcome area, please - tell us a little about your hifi kit and interests, maybe a little about your music choices, even your inside leg measurement if you like! (We like to know a little bit about our new members, as it greatly adds to the sense of community that AoS prides itself on - we like to be seen as real people rather than just posts on a bulletin board so it makes for a much friendlier place.)
Hope you enjoy the forum. :)
