Hi all,

I still have this for sale.
I've changed all capacitors (Mundorf Supreme-coupling/Rifa-smoothing HT/Vishay Polyprop-smoothing input tubes) with higher quality ones, and all resistors have been changed to Kiwarme. Great sound.
Spare set of 5881 tubes.

£350 plus postage.

Darn, if I hadn't just bought a KEL84 I'd have ripped your arm off for this. Lovely looking bit of kit. Ah well, good luck with the sale. :)

I am new to valves,so excuse my noob questions: Is this just a power amp only, so need to have a separate pre amp to get it work? Interested if this is an integrated amp, would this(20W) be ideal for my ProAc Tablettes (86db)?

Hi John,

Yes it's a single input power amp. I used this with just a stepped attenuator, as the input is very sensitive at 240mV for full output. This is one of the quietest valve amps I've come across with less than 0.5mV hum and -105dB noise, which is great if your running super sensitive speakers of 95db or higher.
Don't under estimate those 20 watts! This thing can rock even with lower sensitive speakers.
I've already had an offer so pending payment it's sold.
