Well i woke up this morning to find out that the Neighbour above & the neighbour below have both passed away  Even tho i hated them both for making our lives a mysery, i wouldnt wish on them anything like this! The first thing that should pass through my head after years of being forced into headphones is yipeee liberation, stereo any level i want any time, but i'm quite in shock really!

The thing now is who we gonna get for neighbours: rowdy or quiet? his upstairs was private flat, so that could be bought & rented to a potential nigtmare, below not so worried as the council generally let bottom floor flats to OAP's, do we get an OAP that deaf as a door post, hence telly on full blast all night? I can see us moving out of here by the end of the year tbh..

Knowing your neighbours is always easier than the fear of what the next one will bring. Perhaps a few kindnesses (cup of tea when they move in) will bring dividends for you later?

Better the devil you know sometimes. However, you never know your luck. Next time round they might be OK. Fingers crossed.....

Always sad. And as you say, the unknown of who comes next is a worry.

I’m kinda banking on the saying that only the good die young has some truth to it; think its called risk management in some circles :mental:

Still Andre, every cloud and all that..................:eyebrows:

Make sure you play your music at a decent level when people come to check out the flats above and below... So they know what it'll be like if they moved in!

Now that is good advice.

Andre,
If you nail dead animals to the doors and leave half burned black candles laying around.
And tell people the building is cursed, you won't have to worry about neighbors to complain about your music.

put lambs blood around your own door and a trail of salt on the walk in front and tell people it is how you have survived.

Then you can crank up all the prog you want.

i know all my neighbours ... they all know me, i'm attached to the inlaws for my sins , my subwoofer tends to upset them the most....that will teach the motherinlaw to leave her broomstick around ours

Nah, sorry Jeff, that kind of thing only works on superstitious Americans. People over here tend a little towards the more sophisticated viewpoint. If they came across something like that on coming home from the pub et al, they would just assume a mate was taking the piss.
