Hello to you all, my name is Paul and I live in Devon....The system I an running at the moment consists of....Esound cd-e5 cd player....Musical Fidelity A308 preamp...Jungson ja-88d power amp...Akai GX95 cassette deck...Nola Viper 1A speakers ( arriving next week )

My music tastes are quite wide but lean towards Blues mainly ie, JJ cale, tony Joe White, RL Burnside, Otis Taylor, John Lee Hooker etc, etc..

Enjoy the forum, and when those Nola Viper speakers arrive, how about some photos? (if possible) Nola is a new name to me, so if you feel up to it perhaps you might like to post your impressions and let us know what you think of them.

Hi Paul welcome to AoS, I'm sure a Mod will be by soon to welcome you officially, but I couldn't help responding as I saw Otis Taylor lurking down there :eyebrows: I only discovered him a few months ago, but I'm a big fan - I'm thinking about going to Ireland in Sept for the Harvest Blues Festival, Otis is playing two nights.

It's a very friendly place to hang out here and most questions will produce and answer :) (it might not always be the one you were looking for mind you ;))

Hi Paul and welcome to AoS. Not much to add to what the others have said - look forward to hearing more about your speakers, and some system photos sometime if you can manage would be great.

My knowledge of blues is pretty limited to the "usual suspects" so hopefully I will pick up a few tips to try out.
