Effectively 4 x 509's, which currently are £10K per pair. Built like a tank, capable of driving a rusty nail into a barn door, practical and totally reliable. We used to sell them up against 100 w Krell and ARC amps, back in the day.

They look amazing in that colour scheme. When Dave had them on dem, they were in the midst of the all-black audio-fetish and just looked like huge brushed black front plates that weighed a ton ;)

I fully agree about the sonics though and EAR reliability is legendary - if they work straight from the box, that's it for decades :)
