Hi, Any of you guys had any experience with Nola speakers especially the Viper 1A`s, if so how do you rate them?

Welcome to AoS Paul.

I note this your first post, so I ought to warn you you may well fall foul of the 'Welcome Police'.

We like all new members to introduce themselves in the 'Welcome' room. We would like to know a little about your system and of your tastes in music. If you have done so already and I have missed it, then I apologise.

Having said that, I'm afraid I know nothing about Nola speakers; but we have a very wide, knowlegable and friendly membership here, so I'm sure someone will be along to help you.

Regards

Marco

Hi Paul,

Welcome to AoS :)

Before we answer your query, could you please pop into the Welcome area and say 'hello', telling us what system you've got and what music you like, as this is the required procedure for all new members joining our community.

Cheers!

Marco.

Just a photo from library of the Nola Viper 1a`s for those of you who have never seen a pair. I`m still evaluating mine but what I am hearing they are absolutely superb!! Will let you know my final views later....By the way, the Viper 1A`s are on the right of picture with the single bass driver, the ones on the left are the Viper 2A`s...

They are semi open baffle so soundstage will be good I only heard one many years ago and thought it was good but I think a speaker like this you need to hear in your own room. This might not be possible but you then know for sure. I think if you going for something as high end as this then its a must
Tell us about your listening room and equipment they might be plenty of other choices

Gorgeous finish on them. Seen some of their larger ones and I gulped at the price and the size. Where do these sit in the range?

The Viper 1a`s are the entry level of the range at £4000 !! I have been evaluating them in my listening room for 5 days now and I am " very happy indeed "...
