Hello to all AoS members!

As an introduction I would like to describe my system:

as a source I am using a Dual 1019 turntable with a DL-103 and step up transformer

it is then amplified by a DIY preamp driving a pair of Quad II's

my speakers are right now DIY copies of the Altec Valencia

My main musical interest is classic rock but also some songwriters and folk musicians from time to time. With certain occasions there is some classical music, too.

Hi Marc, welcome to AoS.

Your system sounds interesting - especially the DIY pre and speakers - I'm sure a lot of our DIY members will be keen to hear more... :) It would be great if you could post some pictures some time in the Gallery.
